Fort Santiago : A Relic in Modern Times

Fort Santiago was the next destination we went with during our escapade at the Intramuros. It was just a walk away so we’ve decided to visit the place. It was a fun walk and we’ve tried covering as much ground as we can.

This place was a famous landmark and is a tourist spot most often visited due to it’s historic landmarks and sites. During our visit here we’ve seen beautiful architechtures and captivating sceneries that depict that of the time of the spanish colonial regime. We’ve seen some kalesas, old structures preserved for historical purposes, and statues depicting the old spanish times and captivating landscapes that soothes your sore feet from the long walk.

Upon arriving at the place, we’ve tried to get ourselves the feel of the ambiance, the place is surrounded by beautiful architechtures we’ve seldom seen from the buildings surrounding the city we’ve came from. Beautiful gardens of flowers gave a stunning attraction of the place, and of course, don’t forget the statues, a relic in memorial of the historical place we are at.
